The Colorado Columbines
Women's Running Club is a non-profit running club based in Denver.
We encourage women of all ages and abilities to participate.
A Message from the President
I’m thrilled that you’re interested in the Colorado
Columbines Women’s Running Club! An RRCA member club, we are
Colorado’s only women’s running club and have been in
the Denver metro area for nearly 30 years. We have approximately
150 members who live anywhere from Colorado Springs to Evergreen
to Aurora. This group of women is diverse and dynamic – from
runners who are new to the sport to others who have been running
for more than forty years, from self-proclaimed ‘turtles’
to ‘rabbits’, from women who plan to run a few ultra
marathons this year to those who want to run their first 5K. There’s
one thing in common though - we all share a love of running. It's
likely you'll find friends here with goals and running abilities
similar to your own.
While you’re looking through our website, I’d like to
point out one area in particular: the Calendar.
Please accept our open invitation to attend a fun run before becoming
a member. You can meet the group and go for a run, then chat and
nibble on snacks after the run – and then you can decide whether
you’d like to join the Club. Just contact the fun run hostess
to get directions. Or, you might consider visiting a track
workout, April through early August—another popular aspect
of our club. In addition, please take a look at our membership
benefits and history. For information
about joining, see our membership information.
Please send me an email if you have any questions or would like
to hear more about the Club. I’d be happy to share with you
some of the benefits of membership and upcoming events.
I look forward to meeting you and running with you soon!
Happy Trails!
